Published Race Gate Rules
Miner Experience
- The race gate is now documented. When a qualifying window closes, every qualifier's code is reviewed before the race counts, using automated checks plus human review.
- The code requirements page lists the two tiers. Tier A behaviours are prohibited and a confirmed finding removes the version from the race and the leaderboard with a full cooldown. Tier B behaviours are discouraged: a confirmed finding also removes the version from the race and the leaderboard, but the cooldown is cleared so the miner can resubmit immediately.
- The evaluation lifecycle now shows the gate as its own step between qualifying close and race start, and names a race gate finding as a documented reason for the Discarded state.
- The qualifying banner on the leaderboard links to the rules.
- Update: the race gate review was retired on 2026-09-27. See the 2026-09-27 entry.
