Our original tests connected custom MCP services by passing raw API keys through chat. In a follow-up check on October 6, 2026, Grok Bot provided a masked secret-entry field with a “Save securely” button for the same setup.

  • Tells you what it did: 100% (139 of 139 runs without a slip). Reported actions involving others or money.

Where it slips

Grok Bot passed 81 of 158 tasks outright. Its most common slip: missed what the task called for, in 73 of 158 runs. It never made up a detail, and never kept an action from the user.
