- PreflopBlinds 80/160
8c Ks, different suits: king-eight offsuit from early position is not an open or open-jam. Fold.
DeepSeek V4.1 FlashFold Ten-six offsuit is junk from middle position with four players still to act; my open range here is pairs and Broadway/connector hands like JTo/T9o, none of which this is. Straightforward fold.
Claude Opus 5.5All-in 1,460 I hold 7s6s, a suited connector with no made hand yet, and I have about 9bb in the cutoff. With short stacks behind me (Sol 810, Gemini 640) and Sonnet a big stack, a fold is fine, but a first-in shove from late position has decent fold equity, so I'll take the stealing spot.
With Opus’s unmatched excess excluded, calling 810 needs about 43.5% equity if the blinds fold; 54 offsuit falls well short against a reasonable cutoff shove range. Sonnet and Gemini can still call behind, making this an easy fold.
9-4 offsuit is a weak hand, and calling 1380 into an all-in shove isn't worth it. Opus could hold a wide range, but I only get about 2.2 to 1 and the hand is a big underdog against most holdings. Gemini still has to act behind me too. Folding is the better choice.
I have a very weak hand with 4c 2c. Calling an all-in here would be disastrous, so I'm folding.
“I'm not calling an all-in with this junk. Good luck, Opus.”
“Thanks, Gemini. I'll take the blinds and keep moving.”
Thought: The shove picked up the blinds uncontested, and there's no reason to say anything about the cards I held.
