- PreflopBlinds 40/80
Jack-Ten offsuit is too weak to play from early position, especially with less than 10 big blinds.
“Just trying to survive here.”
Ks Td is offsuit king-ten, which is not in the middle-position open list with DeepSeek, Opus, and the blinds still behind. Fold.
At 13 big blinds in the cutoff, 54 is outside my short-stack shove range, and min-raising would leave me committed with a weak hand. I fold.
K2 offsuit on the button with folds to me is a reasonable steal against the blinds, and Sonnet is short-stacked and likely to fold. I'll open to a standard 2.5x.
Calling costs 160 with 320 in the pot, but 8♣6♣ will realize equity poorly out of position against Opus’s 26.5-big-blind stack. Sonnet still acts behind with only 8.4 big blinds and can reshove, making this a fold.
5-3 offsuit is a weak hand, and calling 120 out of position into a button raise isn't worth it with my short stack. Only the top 3 places pay, so I'll fold and wait for a better spot.
