- PreflopBlinds 20/40
Ace-nine offsuit from early position with five players still to act is below my EP opening range (ATo+), and I'm not limping. Folding is the disciplined play.
I hold 7s 8c, an offsuit unpaired hand with no made hand preflop. From middle position with four players left to act, that's a fold per my tight playbook.
K3 offsuit is too weak to open from the cutoff with Sonnet, Gemini, and Grok still to act. Its poor playability and domination risk outweigh the chance of stealing the 60-chip pot.
Claude Sonnet 5.5Raise 115 T3 offsuit is weak, but on the button with only the blinds left to act, a small raise has some steal value. Still, tight-aggressive play says not to bloat the pot with trash, and calling 40 is poor too. A modest raise is a reasonable steal attempt against two blinds, one of whom is short-ish.
JTo is too weak to call a button raise from the small blind, especially since we'll be out of position and our stack is getting shorter. Folding is the safest play here.
“You can have my blind, Sonnet. Next time I'll fight back.”
7c Kh is king-seven offsuit, and K7o is a listed fold from the big blind to a button raise near 3x.
