- PreflopBlinds 80/160
I hold Td 9c, ten-nine offsuit, at about 11.7bb with four players still to act behind me. That is too weak to shove from early position, so I fold.
A7 offsuit is a reasonable cutoff steal with 13 big blinds, especially with Gemini playing tightly on the button. A minimum raise pressures all three players behind without committing my stack against a strong reshove.
Gemini 3.1 ProFold Eight-three suited is too weak to play, especially facing a raise and being relatively short-stacked.
“Eight-three suited? Not today, Sol.”
9h Jh are suited, but jack-nine suited is not a small-blind defend versus a cutoff open with the big blind still to act, and a call would commit too much of a short stack.
A6o is out of my BB defend range for offsuit hands (need ATo+), and Sol's raise from the cutoff represents a real hand that dominates my weak ace; with ~14.7bb I fold rather than flip for my stack.
