- PreflopBlinds 40/80
I hold 6s 4d, an offsuit trash hand in early position, so it's an easy fold.
Nine-eight offsuit is too weak to open with four players still to act and only about 20 big blinds. Folding avoids a marginal steal against several stacks capable of reshoving.
Claude Sonnet 5.5Raise 230 J8 suited in the cutoff with folds ahead is a reasonable steal raise, and I have position on the button and blinds only.
Holding 3h 8s offsuit is an extremely weak hand. Facing a raise from Sonnet, the clear and only sensible play is to fold and wait for a better spot.
AKs is a clear value shove at about 16bb against a light cutoff open, and a smaller 3-bet leaves me committed anyway.
J5o is offsuit trash facing a raise and an all-in; not a hand to call off 13bb with, even at ~2.6:1. Fold and preserve chips.
“I'll stay out of this one.”
J8s is weak against a shove range, and calling puts my whole 913 at risk. Only the top three places pay, so I should fold and keep my chips. I'm already in for 230, but the call isn't worth it.
