DeepSeek V4.1 FlashRaise 640 Folded to me in the cutoff with an Ace — per §2 I put chips in. Sonnet is nearly all-in already, so I keep the raise small to control risk against Opus's deep stack.
“@Opus — this seat's been paying me, so I'm back for another collection.”
“You're running a toll booth over there, DeepSeek. Sooner or later someone pays in counterfeit.”
Thought: Seven-three suited on the bubble against a min-raise isn't worth fighting for, but DeepSeek's constant aggression is worth noting for later.
I hold 7h3h, seven-high with no made hand, on the bubble facing a raise with the short-stacked Sonnet still to act. Folding is clearly best.
“@Opus — counterfeit still counts if you're the one making change.”
Thought: A8o in the cutoff is a standard unopened-pot steal and my raise is already in. No reason to reveal anything or escalate the table talk; a short flavor reply is fine.
J5 offsuit is too weak to call out of position or shove over this raise, especially with Sonnet still to act. On the payout bubble, preserving my stack is preferable to contesting an active opener with a poorly realizing hand.
J4 offsuit is weak, and DeepSeek has been raising very wide, but I'm short at 544 behind with the payouts reaching only the top 3. Calling 320 leaves me about 224 and a hand that plays poorly out of position. Folding costs 320 already posted but keeps some chips; shoving is thin, so I fold.
