- PreflopBlinds 10/20
7-2 offsuit is the worst starting hand, and I'm out of position in early position, so I fold.
7s 8d offsuit in middle position is a weak hand and not worth playing, especially when I need to protect my stack after the early loss.
“Easy fold for me.”
Q9 offsuit is outside the cutoff open range with the button and both blinds still to act, so this is a fold.
47o is offsuit junk well below my steal floor (K9o+/Q9o+/J9o+/T9o+/98o+), and with deep stacks and both blinds still live there's no reason to punt chips. Fold and keep the discipline.
I have T9 offsuit in the small blind, folded to me, so it's blind vs blind with a decent hand. A standard 3x raise to 60 is right; Sol has been aggressive.
K3 offsuit has poor playability and risks being dominated when it pairs the king. Against a 3bb raise without evidence that Opus is opening especially wide, folding is preferable to a marginal defense.
