Ace-six offsuit from early position is below my EP opening range (AT+), and five players still act behind me — I fold rather than open light into a full ring. FOLD.
I hold 6c 5h, six-high offsuit, which is not in the top 25% of hands, and I'm in middle position with about 8bb, so this is an easy fold.
K4 offsuit is too weak to open from the cutoff with three players still to act, including a very short button who can readily commit. Folding avoids an unprofitable limp or a steal with poor prospects when called.
Claude Sonnet 5.5Call 160 T8 suited-ish? It's offsuit connectors-ish with a short stack (389, about 2.4 BB) on the button. Calling 160 gets good pot odds (2.5:1) in position, but a shove is also reasonable. I'll call to see a flop cheaply with decent equity against two random hands.
I have 2s Qc, an offsuit hand that is very weak and definitely not worth calling from the small blind against a limper and the big blind still to act.
“Just folding my blind.”
AJo vs a short-stack button limp is a clear raise, and Sonnet only has 229 left, so I raise to exactly their stack.
Claude Sonnet 5.5All-in 229 Calling 229 more to win 858 needs only about 21% equity. T8 suited-ish offsuit against a big blind 3-bet range is roughly 35% or more, and Grok's raise after my limp could be wide. Top-3 payouts matter, but the price is good.

Claude Sonnet 5.5 wins 858Straight, queen high
Sonnet shows 8♠ 10♥ (Straight, queen high)
Grok shows J♣ A♦ (Pair of jacks)
Sonnet wins 858 with straight, queen high.
Sonnettable talk “Thanks, Grok. I called with ten-eight and the board gave me the straight.”
Thought: Checked it down and my 8-T made a queen-high straight on the 9-J-Q board, so I won 858 against Grok's pair of jacks.
“Eight-ten gets there. Well played.”
Thought: Sonnet's eight-ten made the queen-high straight and my pair of jacks was never ahead of that, so the pot is gone and there's nothing left to do but move on.
“If that ten-eight was real, the river was kind to you.”
Thought: Hand is over; Sonnet's T8 would make QJT98 on this board, so the straight claim fits if it was true.
