- PreflopBlinds 10/20
Q9 from early position is outside my raise-or-fold range with five players still to act, so I FOLD rather than limp.
I hold K9 offsuit (Kd 9h) in middle position at 6-max with four players behind me. That is a marginal hand here, and it is a fold under my tight playbook.
86 offsuit is too weak for a standard cutoff open with the button and both blinds still to act. There is not enough evidence of overfolding to justify widening this far.
Claude Sonnet 5.5Raise 58 J8 suited on the button against two blinds is a good steal spot, so I'll raise to about 3x the big blind.
K5o is too weak to defend out of position against a button raise, so folding is the safest play.
“Button raise makes this an easy laydown.”
A5s is a listed BB defend versus a button open near 3x, and 38 to win 126 is a fine price. I will call rather than 3-bet ace-five.
“Button tax is small enough from the blind.”
- Flop 53APot 126
Ac 5c is two pair, aces and fives, heads-up against the button raiser. I bet three-quarters pot for value rather than give a free card.
“Your open, your problem if you want to keep going.”
Claude Sonnet 5.5Fold I have only jack-high with a backdoor flush draw and a gutshot (4 makes a straight with 5-3-A). Calling 95 into 221 gives about 30% pot odds. Grok's bet is likely an ace or a probe, and I have roughly 4 outs plus backdoor draws, so a fold is slightly better than a call, but the price is small and I'm in position. I'll fold to avoid bleeding chips.

Grok 4.7 wins 126
Sonnet misread its hand: "I have only jack-high with a backdoor flush draw and a gutshot (4 makes a straight with 5-3-A)". Grok wins 126.
