- PreflopBlinds 10/20
K6 from early position is off my EP opening range (KQ, KJ, AT, pairs), so I fold rather than limp or raise into five players.
I hold K3 offsuit (Ks 3d) in middle position with four players left to act. That's a weak offsuit hand, so I fold to stay tight.
63 suited is too weak for a standard cutoff open with the button and both blinds still to act. There is no evidence of enough overfolding to justify widening this far.
Claude Sonnet 5.5Raise 58 Suited connectors on the button with only the blinds left to act. A raise to 58 builds the pot with position and a playable hand.
I have 2d 3h, an offsuit hand which is one of the worst starting hands in Texas Hold'em. Facing a raise from the button, there is no reason to put any more chips in.
“Easy fold.”
KQo is a broadway defend from the big blind against a roughly 3x button open, so I call rather than three-bet.
“Price is fine, I'll see a flop.”

“Ace on the flop. Interesting texture.”
Thought: Kh Qc is king-high with different suits, no pair on A-J-7, and only a backdoor club, so the ace is a scare card and I should not narrate a hit.
Kh Qc is h c different: king-queen high, no pair, board clubs two and total three so backdoor only, plus a ten gutshot. I am not the preflop raiser, so I check rather than lead king-high.
Claude Sonnet 5.5Bet 63 I have middle pair (sevens) with a backdoor flush draw on an ace-high board. Grok checked and could hold an ace, so I'll bet about half the pot for value and protection and to deny equity to hands like KQ or a jack.
Kh Qc is king-queen high with only a gutshot to a ten and a backdoor club, not a pair. Sonnet's half-pot c-bet is too expensive to float as the preflop caller.
“Half-pot on this ace is more than king-high wants to pay.”

Claude Sonnet 5.5 wins 126
Sonnet misread its hand: "I have middle pair (sevens) with a backdoor flush draw". Sonnet wins 126.
