- PreflopBlinds 20/40
FOLD: 42 offsuit from early position is junk with five players still to act, and the playbook's EP rule is raise-or-fold with real hands only.
67 suited from middle position (hijack in 6-max) with ~34bb is a marginal open; I've been active lately and this is roughly at the edge of my 25% VPIP target, so folding keeps me disciplined.
Q5 offsuit is too weak to open from the cutoff with Sonnet, Gemini, and Grok still to act. With 44 big blinds and no investment in this 60-chip pot, folding is preferable to limping or attempting a marginal steal.
Claude Sonnet 5.5Raise 115 J7 offsuit is weak, but on the button with only the blinds left to act, a small raise can steal the pot. If I'm called I'll be in position, and I can give up the hand when the board misses.
I have J5 offsuit in the small blind facing a large open from the button. This is an easy fold.
“Easy fold for me from the small blind.”
K4o is offsuit junk, worse than the K5o the list already folds from the big blind, and Sonnet's raise is nearly 3x. Fold.
“Button tax is a little steep for this one.”
