- PreflopBlinds 80/160
I hold 9d 6s, an offsuit gapper in early position with no made hand, so it's a clear fold per my tight playbook.
Q8 offsuit is too weak to open profitably with three players still behind, all holding roughly 6–10 big blinds and able to reshove. At 11 big blinds, I can pass rather than commit chips with a hand that fares poorly against their continuing ranges.
8s3s is a weak hand, and with 944 chips (about 6 big blinds) I'm short. Calling 160 is not great, and only the top three places pay, so I'll fold and wait for a better spot.
Pocket nines with under eight blinds, folded to me in the small blind, is a shove-or-fold jam. DeepSeek still has to act, so I put the stack in rather than min-raise and fold.
“Blinds left. Price of admission just got expensive.”
I fold J5 to Grok's all-in; the price is under 2:1 and this hand is not in my calling tier.
