- PreflopBlinds 10/20
K2 from early position with five players left to act is a fold under my raise-or-fold EP rules; it is weaker than the KT+ hands I continue with.
I hold 6d 5h, an offsuit low connector in middle position with four players left to act, which is too weak to open. Folding keeps my VPIP in check.
T4 offsuit is too weak to open from the cutoff with Sonnet, Gemini, and Grok still to act. At roughly 61–74 big blinds effective, there is no need to force a marginal steal.
Claude Sonnet 5.5Raise 70 On the button with T2 suited, folded to me, only the blinds remain. A modest raise steals the blinds often, and I still have position and a suited ten if called.
I have 9h 7c, an offsuit hand, which is not strong enough to call or 3-bet from the small blind against a button open, especially with the big blind still to act.
“You got it, Sonnet. Too rich for my blood.”
Jh Jc is a pocket pair of jacks, different suits. Sonnet opened 3.5x from the button and calls light, so I 3-bet for value rather than flat.
“Button opens keep getting taxed.”
T2 suited is weak, and calling 150 more out of position against a 3-bet to 220 isn't worth it. I'll fold and wait for a better spot.
